Project Introduction

The connecting rod, or “conrod,” is one of the key components in piston engines, responsible for linking the piston to the crankshaft and playing a vital role in converting reciprocating motion into rotational motion. This part must withstand high compressive and tensile forces, making material quality and manufacturing precision critically important.

Technical Specifications
Connecting rods are produced from a variety of materials, including carbon steel, micro-alloyed steel, porous metals, and aluminum alloys (T6-2024 and T651-7075). In special cases, titanium is also used. The choice of material depends on the expected performance and final application.
In common industrial production, steel is predominantly used. In more cost-sensitive applications, machined billets or ductile graphite iron are employed.

Project Objective
Razm Yaran Manufacturing Industries launched this project with the goal of producing top-quality connecting rods that meet global standards. Every stage—from design and material selection to the production process and quality control—has been executed with the highest precision to deliver a durable, efficient product suited for industrial and automotive needs.

Current Project Status
Following the completion of design and prototyping phases, the product has successfully entered the production stage. Plans for mass production are underway to meet the growing demand of automotive manufacturers and related industries.

Conclusion
Thanks to the continuous efforts of Razm Yaran’s technical and engineering team, a high-quality and optimally designed product has been introduced. This project represents a significant step in advancing domestic capabilities and enhancing the overall quality of national production.
